Andrew Young serves at Scout’s Chief Operations Officer overseeing its EPC, Interconnection, Energy Assessment and Asset Management and Operations (AMO) teams. Prior to joining Scout, Andrew served as CEO for Innogy Renewables US (now part of RWE Renewables) and Chief Development Officer of EDPR. Over his 30-year career in renewables, Andrew has helped scale multiple companies from the ground up including the EDF, EDPR and Innogy US platforms to develop and construct more than 3,500 MW of wind and solar power projects across the USA and Canada.
Andrew holds a BASc in Engineering from University of Waterloo and is an avid road, mountain and gravel cyclist.
